Research & Innovation

A nationally integrated research network

Five major Research Hubs and twelve specialised Research Groups, strategically established across Cameroon to address the country’s most pressing social, scientific, environmental, and developmental challenges.

Our approach

Research that extends beyond the laboratory

TREND Foundation is organized into five major Research Hubs bringing together a dynamic network of 12 specialised Research Groups. Each group operates within an interdisciplinary framework that encourages collaboration across diverse fields, enabling the integration of scientific knowledge, innovation, and practical experience in the pursuit of impactful and scalable solutions.

Through its decentralised hub structure, the Foundation promotes regional inclusion, strengthens local research ecosystems, and encourages both national and international collaboration — responding effectively to local realities while contributing to broader national, regional, and global development priorities.
